Participants to the event :
- Young artists of the ProQuartet young professional’s Academy, coached by Gilles Milletfrom the Danel Quartet. The academy takes place from August 19 to 23 in Roussillon.
- All amateurs from the ProQuartet amateur training session. The session takes place in Apt from August 19 to 23 .Teachers : Pierre Nentwig (cellist) and Philippe Mouchon (Violist)
- All amateur musicians that wish to join theephemeral musical band , provided they book themselves prior to august 21st (see details below).
- Professional musicians, (Luberon String Quartet Festival, ProQuartet) that will join the ephemeral band for the event.
Program of the day :
10h45 - 11h45: Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur (salle du Rouge).
- Public Master Class by Gilles Millet (Danel Quartet) to the Telegraph Quartet (USA, class in english)
11h00 – 11h30: Sentier des Ocres (Ochers path way)
- Morning concert by the Quatuor Ebonit(Holland, sax quartet)
11h – 11h45: Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur
- Family workshop on music and colors with the Desguin Quartet (Belgium).
12h30 – 14h00: Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur
- Musical Picnic with the musicians of the young professional’s academy and the chef “Nicolas cuisine le monde”.

14h00 – 14h30: Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur
- Guided tour of the ancient ochers and colors plant.

- Final concert of the amateurs training session :Schumann, Schubert, Doppelbauer, Piazolla, Vivaldi.
- Outdoor: Cantique de Jean Racine(Fauré) by the ephemeral Band (4mn).

- Evening concert with the Cheng Quartet(Taïwan)

- Final concert of the young professional’s academy

Ephemeral Musical Band
Are you an amateur singer or musician? Come and play with the ephemeral band !
ProQuartetand the adult choir of the Apt musical conservatory, led by Pascal Briosne, develop a project of ephemeral musical band. Whatever your instrument and your level, join the musicians of the amateur training session of ProQuartet to prepare a small but beautiful piece of the repertoire (The Cantique de Jean Racine by Gabriel FAURE). The piece will be plaid in concert during the Quartet fair. A few professional will support the amateurs.
- Mandatory rehearsal: August 20, 5 30 to 7 30 pm in the Apt Conservatory.
- Public concert: August 23 in Roussillon during the Quartet Fair:
----- 2 30 pm in the Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur
----- 7pm in the Church of Roussillon, as an opening to the young professionals concert.

The Luberon String Quartet Festival, ProQuartet, the Township of Roussillon and Le Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur à Roussillon organize the Quartet Fairin Roussillon, that will end with a concert in the Saint Michel Church.
